My own answer is...probably not. I went with just two batches and it is really full. I think there may have been some overflow when I switched it to 6 to mix for 15 minutes.

Anyone else know any better?

4lbs of sugar is about how much I can add into my 6q with out really getting icing and powder sugar everywhere. You maybe able to get another lb in there, but I think 6 lbs of sugar would be a stretch.

Thanks Texas. I agree, after seeing how full it was with 4 lbs, 6 would have been an overflow disaster.

It could be possible, but I know with my luck I'd have PS everywhere! icon_wink.gif

Exactly. I was just envisioning the white cloud all over my house. Not to mention the buttercream spackle that I'd have to scrape from the cabinets, ceiling, floor, and walls. No fun!!!
