I have a cake request for a party that is in 2 weeks. The party is to celebrate an Irish man who was just granted American citizenship. Any ideas??? I'm supposed to "let my imagination run wild". However, I'm much better at that for kids birthdays and baby showers LOL. This is a little different for me.

First as an American living in Ireland - the fact that the guy got his citizenship is a great thing - if for no other reason than he put up with all the bureacracy (something I am not willing to do to my DH).

ANYWAY, nothing is springing to mind other than NO SHAMROCKS and NO LEPRECHANS PLEASE... you just don't know how that grates on an Irishman's nerves - trust me!

Stick with red white and blue colours and perhaps have him raising a pint of Guinness in congrats!

Wish I could provide more suggestions - but the well is dry - just wanted to steer u clear of the stereotypes.
