Say that someone was charging $3/serving. For various reasons they feel a price decrease might be a good idea.

Say further that this person has 3 orders coming up that have already been quoted at the $3/serving price.

Is that person obligated to reduce the price on the already contracted orders? Or should they simply state that effective on orders placed after thus-and-so date pricing is $X?

Thoughts?

I would make the price decrease "unofficial" until all orders under the old pricing structure were complete...it can be a "special discount" off list prices until that last order is filled, then you can go ahead and change your menu.

Great idea, thank you. I will pass that along.
