Has anyone ever tried making a chocolate and strawberry marbled cake? I am making a cake for a friend and she just requested it, unsure about the taste. Any ideas?????

I haven't tried that, but once got a request for strawberry cake with chocolate icing/filling which I thought would be gross but actually tasted good!

I made it last week for my son's birthday cake and it was quite yummy

I can't see how that would be a bad thing!!

Strawberry and choc marble is my favourate cake, it just dosent only taste good but it looks very pretty and uncommon, try it and i am sure you will be very pleased with the result, i actually made one for our icing guild today and its always a winner!

Ok. I was already intrigued and was thinking about baking it tonight. Now I am headed in to turn the oven on and give it a go. Thanks all.
