no i have seen this lady actually have her cake cut in to squares under the icing.
when its time for the cake to be served its already cut into squares, so i am wondering how in the world does she do that.

Sorry, can't help you, I have never seen it done. The only thing like this I have seen done are cupcakes covered in buttercream like a cake. The cupcakes are removed by just cutting through the buttercream one at a time. I hope that made sense. I would think that it would be a bear to try and frost a cake where the cake had already been cut into serving size pieces. Yikes!

It's called a pre-cut cake and I've seen one in my lifetime. If you do it, I would recommend cutting the cake while it's partially frozen to avoid lots of crumbs. The cake is cut and then iced.

i've never understood the concept, personally. who can't cut a square cake into squares to the point that it has to be cut ahead of time for them? icon_confused.gif
