I'm wondering what site everyone used to register their domain names? I'm wanting to build a website and I want to OWN my domain-I know there are some companies where you don't and its hard to wrap my head around because I am not a computer person (outside of the basics and social networking heh). The ones I've looked at are register.com and godaddy.com
Anyone have advice to offer? TIA

I use Yahoo for my website hosting and domain name registration

I use yahoo for both also. I also have a couple registered with GoDaddy but I don't use them.
