So, I'm 17 and helping my aunt out by making a topsy turvy cake for her daughter's, my cousin's, baby shower. I have everything I need except for one thing; a longer dowel. The dowels i purchased are only 12 inches long and that isnt going to help me when i need at least a 3 ft long dowel to place in the center...you know the one that holds all three tiers together. So, I was just wondering if anyone knew how to get their hands on a few of these? Please respond ASAP!!! The baby shower is on August 8th!

Home Depot/Lowes. Ask one of the employees to make sure the dowels are untreated. thumbs_up.gif

All the major big box hardware stores carry hardwood dowels in 4 ft lengths. They are in the lumber dept.
