Is there a hot pink fondant that doesn't taste horrible? Making a zebra cake with hot pink stripes and every hot pink I've ever tasted was less than desirable

If you mix AmeriColor's Electric Pink into your fondant it doesn't really affect the taste. The gel colors are strong so it doesn't take a lot of dye to make a bright hot pink.

It is possible to flavor the fondant to go with your cake flavor. I use the Lorann oils that are used for candy making. 1 or 2 drops can boost the fondant flavor.

I use Wilton Rose...actually just tinted fondant that color for a cake that's due tomorrow. It doesn't take very much of the Wilton. I've also used the Americolor Electric Pink but to me it has an aftertaste.
