My dad has asked me to make a birthday cake for my step mother. Her mother passed away Saturday so I really want to make something nice. I know she likes cats and flowers. Any ideas or pictures greatly appreciated.

Maybe you can make a flower basket cake? Mold a small sleeping or sitting kitten for the center of it and surround it in flowers? So sorry to hear about the passing of her mother.. ~

Maybe a cake in a ball of wool with a little kitten playing with it, and some beautiful bright flowers around a fondant covered cake board or have the ball and kitten, flowers ontop of a cake?
