hi there, i usually just make it after i put in the cakes to bake, that way its ready when they are lol you can make it in advance, i think its good in the fridge for 3 days max (as per martha) but then you would have to let it come to room temp and rebeat it hth!!

It also freezes very well - but same tip as babykonst about bringing to complete room temp before rebeating.
