Hey!

I have been decorating for about a year now but until now the baking part wasnt part of the process. It was just a cake mix everytime... my hobby was the decorating but it is time to diversify and better still, time to learn to bake! I have tried the Cake Planet ganache with success and IndyDebi's buttercream (will never go back) but what I REALLY need is good standard stackable/carvable cakes and delicious fillings!!

What is your favorite filling recipe (preferably not needing to be refridgerated!) and what is your favorite cake recipe?

Theres a forum (Help! Gourmet Flavors????) that has LOTS and LOTS of ideas and recipes. Read thru that and you'll always have something you'll want to try next!
My favorite filling is the Toblerone/Chocolate filling (in recipes). Use it alot and never refrigerate after the cake is filled. It's very yummy, if you like chocolate!
