So I've just started doing cakes, and I have a girl i use to work with wanting me to do a cake for her Baby shower/Wedding shower. Any ideas how to mesh them together? I'm doing a sheet cake. Pink and brown, she wants a modern look. I've come up with a few things for baby, but modern wedding? Thanks for looking.

Have a look in the galleries...lots of pink/brown combination ideas.

That she's requested modern leaves me thinking less emphasis on the baby cake, and more on a modern wedding cake...

Fondant polka dots in dark brown, sheet cake iced in pale pink, center panel trimmed in fondant pearls, border in fondant pearls...easy, looks lovely, and you could write "True Love, A Forever Promise, Baby Love....Congratulations!" if you think appropriate.

Here's another idea...
