I need to make some Mickey ears and bought some black fondant . I bought some tylose today ,Ive never tried it and really dont know what its for lol! But, heard that you mix it with fondant to make it dry harder ... is this true and is this what tylose is for ? I bought it at Nicholas Lodge store in Atlanta ,loved the store icon_smile.gif felt like a kid in a canndy store lol! So should I mix this with my fondant for my Mickey ears and if so how much do I use ? Thank you CCers icon_smile.gif

Yup...tylose helps fondant dry about twice as fast. I use two tsp per cup of fondant for my cut outs to help them dry. If I'm doing figures tho I use a 50/50 mix of fondant and gumpaste.
