I'm starting to get interested in making sugar flowers. Just made my first ones using wire and floral tape. I'm wondering if the regular floral tape is food safe. Does anyone know, or is there a special tape to use that is?

THe same floral tape that florists use is the same tape that cake decorators use. Most people do not insert the wires directly into cake (they stick a drinking straw into the cake and then insert the wires into that) or some people dip them in white chocolate first and then into the cake.
If you have anymore questions, let me know and I will try to help!
