How Do I Make A 20 Sided Dice Cake?

Any help out there in making a D20 (20 sided Dice) cake. It seems to be the impossible task! Help!

after looking at the roatating model on wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Icosahedron.gif

You are going to have to stack some cakes and carve away !! wow... you need Prterrell.. find her and pm her. she is the math gal on here. you are going to have to do some precise measuring and probably make a template to go by to get the measurements right.

Thats all the advice I can offer. I cant wait to see that cake !!

also you might want to edit your subject line and spell out what D20 actually is. I didnt have a clue until you had it spelled out. more people will check your post out if they know what you are needing.

The cake has to be 12 inches around. that sounds small well it did to me but it is really not small at all. According to my calculations the triangles should be 7.5 inches. Thanks!
