I want to make an initial out of chocolate that I melted or royal icing. Is one easier than the other. I'm not sure how I would get that to stand up?

Hi! Depending on how you do it, I (personally) think chocolate would hold up better. If it is thick enough, you could insert popsicle sticks in the bottom and they will be the "posts" to set into the cake. Hope this helps! icon_smile.gif

thanks! That's what I was thinking, but I hate to test things out blind when I have the help from everyone here! Thanks so much!

Hi I'm from Australia and we often use wires to make things stand up. You could also cut it out with fondant and slide a wire up inside it. I then lay it down and smooth it out again and leave for a day or so to dry out.
