I am very new to this and am having trouble deciding what colors to mic together to get hot pink buttercream icing.... Any suggestions????
Just use any regular pink like Americolor or wilton but just add alot more.It will turn hot pink! Wilton also has a color called Rose pick which is good for that also..Americolor has a Neon Pink.
Yes Wilton Rose pink. Not Rose petal pink. Make sure you let it sit for a bit it will darken more as it sits.
I don't think I have the rose pink, just plain pink.... guess I will have to experiment a little.....
I honestly don't think regular pink will turn the right shade for you. But experiment away you never know what you can get combining colors.
Before I had the pink jel coloring, I used the food coloring red. I could get really hot pink with it!

Wilton Pink will NOT give you hot pink but Wilton Rose WILL. Pink has an orange undertone and will never make hot pink no matter how much you add. Wilton Rose makes the perfect hot pink. Just add until you get the color right.
Try adding a touch of red. That might give you the color you need.
Really??
