I have a firetruck this weekend and a wilton 3-d frog in a few weeks. How do you transport the shaped cakes? The firetruck might work in a 6" tall box, but the frog definitely not. Any tips?

Most of the time I have to end up making a box to fit the oddly shaped 3D cakes I make. Just put the cake on a big enough cake board and then build the box around it. Sheet cake boxes help but you can, obviously, only use the bottom of them to deliver with. I've never had a client say anything about the box I deliver the cake in...they are too busy looking at the cake!
