hello to all cake-junkies,

i have to make a wedding cake for a good friend. i wanted to use vases as seperators because it looks so nice icon_smile.gif
so, my question is if it's to risky to move the cake after the layers are placed? i thought that it would be better to roll the cake in as a surprise, but i fear that the vases move to much an maybe fall down :S
i hope that so here has experiance with that

greets

The only way I can see that this would work would be to glue the top and bottom of the vases to the seperator plates..even then it would be dicey. Better to set it up in the room and then bring her in to see it as the surprise.
