2 Figures, Train, Rose's- Decor Help

hi,

im doing a cake and it has 2 figures, Train, rose's, ball and baby blocks on it-

ive done one figure in gumpaste and fondant mixed, should i do the rest in the same knowing they cant be eaten as they will taste horrible ( gumpaste )- will some poeple want to eat the decs do you think, so shuld i try and d it in fondnt only

is it ok to do stuff just in fondant? and why do people not?

I seldom have people eat the decorations. I guess technically they are edible, but that doesn't necessarily make them palatable.

You can make figures out of fondant, but they stay a little "soft". I mix fondant and gumpaste or add Tylose to the fondant so the figures dry a little faster and are studier.
