I have a 4 tier wedding cake, I'm placing real flowers on each tier, sort of randomly, and also for topper. The bride needs to know how many flowers I will need for the cake. Any ideas?
I don't want to ask for too much & end up having her pay too much.

It would depend on how large the flowers are and how much area you have to work with on the cake. For instance...with a 10,8,6 you could cover the top with 6 medium size roses and then scatter another 6 down the tiers. But with a 16,14,12,10,8 that wouldn't be nearly enough roses. Also, are you covering the top tier or just a couple of flowers to decorate the topper? Basically you can use as few as one flower to as many as 100 depending on the size of the cake and the look you are going after. So basically you need more info before giving her a number.
