hey guys, so I'm going to attempt my first frozen transfer today and I've been looking around this site to see if it is better to use buttercream or royal icing or canned icing, does anyone know? I'm pretty confused atm so any advice/recipe would help me out!

thanks

also, I would like to use canned icing if I can, this cake has to be made on a serious budget, anyone know how it turns out using that stuff?

I've never tried canned icing, but I would think it might be a little soft and sticky to use for a transfer. I have done buttercream and royal icing transfers and both work well. I also really like using colored candy melts and making chocolate transfers.
