I just made my first buttercream cake for a client -- I'm a die hard fondant gal.

We did the order through email as she's a repeat customer. She told me she needed the cake June 4th and when I called to confirm what time to deliver she said she meant June 6th.

What do I do with the cake until then? Should I refrigerate it? By the way it has a big gumpaste bow on top and fondant polka dots and flowers on it as well.

Thanks so much!!

Unless it has a perishable filling I wouldn't put it in the fridge. I never refrigerate my cakes. It will be fine at room tempature thumbs_up.gif That's just what I suggest.
