I am in the process of starting a baked goods company, and I have been trying to find the best prices on chocolate to use in cookies, brownies, etc. No candies are being made at this point, its strictly baking. The best price I have found is on 11 lbs of Callebaut for $45. Does anyone know of any places, I do have a EIN, so I am able to use things that may not be open to the general public, but I am in the starting stages that I dont think any food service would deliver to me......but I am willing and able to travel. And I have googled away, not having much luck....

I do not know if you have tried other forums, but you might have better luck in one of the larger cake forums. Best wishes to you on the start of your business! icon_biggrin.gif

Auiswiss has several chocolate lines at different price points and ship nationwide for free with a minimum purchase. Go to www.auiswiss.com or call 800 231 8154 and they can help you.

You can also try International Gourmet, based out of Springfield, Va. I use them here in Cary, North Carolina. http://www.igf-inc.com/

Oh yes and Qzina www.qzina.com
Here's the chocolate product link http://www.qzina.com/products.php?categoriesID=2&level=1

The quality of chocolate for all three companies is quite good. Hope this helps.
