So I am wanting to make poured sugar to put on my cake. I found a recipe on here but I'm not needing a lot of sugar pieces. Is there a small recipe for poured sugar and also can you color it? Thanks

I did it for the first time a few weeks ago. It was easy, and my sugar tiles were beautiful!! Yes, you can just add regular gel food coloring.

How much do you need? Can you just cut the recipe in half or thirds?

That is what I was wondering if it would still work if I cut the recipe in half. So you think I can just do that? when you say gel food coloring it can be the wilton gel coloring? It doesn't have to be liquid? I'm just going to try to make flames for a campfire scene so I don't need that much at all but I guess it would be nice to make extra in case they get messed up or break. Thank you for your reply! icon_smile.gif

I don't see why you couldn't just cut the recipe down. And, yes, I just used Wilton gel colors. Good luck! icon_smile.gif
