Once I wake all the way up I'm sure I'll come up with a brilliant solutions but for the moment I'm just frustrated.

SMBC iced cake, chilled, covered in fondant. Up till 1am finishing the cake, get up this morning and the house was too hot overnight, the buttercream melted a little under the fondant....couple of bubbles on the front only, next to the crest, because of the weight.

Its in the fridge chilling out again, hopefully to firm up again....I'm thinking swags are in my future today...

A nice long swag covered the crack and it was sufficiently chilled that it will be fine now. Another long night on a castle cake last night so I'm tired again, but no more cakes this weekend...or maybe just one...

I hear you, the minute I start to move I start to sweat... I keep a fan going faced at the table.
