Please help! I am making cupcakes for an OUTSIDE baby shower at the end of June in GA!!! HOT, HOT, HOT. Does anyone have ideas and recipes that wont melt?
Host has requested cream cheese frosting. Told her I don't think I can do that. Does anyone know if cream cheese frosting or smbc will hold up in the heat for a few hours?

I believe this Decorator's Cream Cheese frosting should hold better in the heat because of the usage of shoetnening and the amount of icing sugar. I'm sure the experts on CC will have better suggestions.

mlwcc- The decorators cream cheese frosting recipe juststarted suggested should be fine, however I would use 1 cup shortening and no butter if it's for a outdoor event. HTH
