Just made some - yummmm.
Ganache -
Heat 1/2 cup cream until boiling. Pour over 6 oz. chocolate (I use 60% Ghiradelli Chocolate Chips.). Stir until chocolate is melted. Let cool 15 minutes.
Buttercream -
Beat 9 oz. softened, unsalted butter about 2 minutes in electric mixer. Add 4 cups powdered sugar. Then add 1 tsp. vanilla. Beat until light and fluffy. Slowly beat in the chocolate. You may need to chill it some before icing cake.
