I'm thinking of using ganache soon, and need to know if the cake needs to be kept refrigerated after it's made. Thanks!

No. I never refrigerate my cakes and I cover with ganache quite often. I saw a french chef on Good Morning America once and he said it wasn't necessary to refrigerate a cake covered/filled with ganache. He also said "chocolate is much better at room tempature" and I have to agree. I hate cold cake.

Thanks, Mamawrobin! That's great to hear! Keeping cakes in the fridge is a pain in the butt.
