Can anyone tell me the best way to apply rice paper decorations to fondant covered cake?

Hi, I've attached rice paper edible picture to a fondant plaque for a picture frame with piping gel and brush. It was thinly applied on the fondant. The rice paper was placed on the coated fondant. It should work on a fondant cake. If you are leary, just cut a small piece of rice paper and attach to a rolled out 3" x 3" piece of fondant for a test before attaching to cake. HTH.
