I am making a bridal shower cake for a friend. She wants a strawberry cake for one tier and is looking for ideas for the second. They are against chocolate and want something that goes with the strawberry tier. I was thinking pink chapagne cake but have never made it. What filling goes with this cake? And if anyone's tried it....what do you think of the taste?

I just recently did a pink champagne for a 21st birthday and used buttercream for the filling with fresh rasberries. It was pretty simple, but turned out really good.
