I have seen Antonio74's glace icing recipe on this sight but I cannot find it tonight. Can anyone direct me to it? Thanks.

I think it is "antonia74" not antonio... that might be the problem with your searches.

It's a great recipe! I use it all the time and I love it!

Thanks for your information but I am looking for the glace icing recipe for Antonia74 not the royal icing. Does anyone have that information. Thanks.

I only know of her royal icing recipe as that is the Antonia74 'gold standard' that so many of us use. If you click on her name, you can find recipes she has submitted and perhaps you can find what you are looking for. I just have not heard of another one.

The glace recipe is usually attributed to Toba Garrett. She has it in her "Creative Cookies" book.

Edited to add: Someone has it posted here on Cake Central recipes. Here's the link.

Okay...maybe I have the wrong person but the recipe I saw had 2 tsp vanilla extract, 1/2 tsp almond emulsion and 1/2 tsp clear butter flavoring. Uses corn syrup and milk. Ring a bell??

I don't have a glace icing recipe. Everyone here is right, it's a royal icing recipe.

(Why not just email me to ask? icon_lol.gif)

A newbie does not want to pm anyone, because s/he is afraid it may come across as rude.

Some sites are like that.

messy1 - I think you might be wanting Toba Garrett's glace recipe. It's in the recipe section too, I believe.

I found the recipe I was thinking of. It is on the website of Karen's cookies. She uses the almond emulsion in her recipe. Thanks to everyone that tried to help.
