Hello and thank you in advance. I'm just starting out this hobby. My friend wants me to make a cake for her daughters birthday on Saturday. She wants a teapot cake.
1st question: I have the premade fondant. Can I make the decorations today? What should I store them in so they wont go bad?
2nd question: I'm covering the cake in crusted buttercream. How far in advance can I do this and store it?

Thank you again for your help. I have only done one cake for my son's birthday. (my friend isn't expecting any miracles) lol

I would make the decorations now. Let them sit out to dry then put them in a air-tight container. As for the cake I would make.... icing wed, Make cake-fill and crumb coat on thurs, and finish up friday night.
