Wedding Cakes And Fresh Strawberries. Help

I am making a wedding cake for my brother on June 5th and I need to make the cake the day before. He wants fresh strawberries with they be ok if I decorate the day before? I know berries get soggy and I wouldn't want a soggy mess. TIA.
