I am making the wilton horse cake for a friend who has a brown horse. i have made the cake shape before and he loved it. he likes italian cream cake, so thats what i'm making, but it would be great for coloring if i could use chocolate buttercream - even just light chocolate.

i'm not familiar with italian cream cake as i dont like coconut. would chocolate icing taste funny?

Chocolate tastes good with anything.
