Is There A Substitute For A Madeleine Pan?

I don't have a madeleine pan and was wondering if I could use something else instead of one of those.

I'm not sure how much use I'd get out of one and I really don't want to spend the money yet.

Thank you.

Well, not really. Part of the point of making madelines is making them in the shape of a madeline. They also are formulated to bake very quickly and the pan is designed to do that.

Gotcha - I understand. They look so delicious - I'm going out to buy myself a pan - I have to make them!

Thanks Leah
