... with Marshmallow Fondant? I read some have issues with it but I have only worked with MMF since it tastes way better.
Can I do nice ribbons that way for a present cake? Any tips/ideas?
I have to have the cake ready for Saturday morning.
Thanks in advance!

Marshmallow fondant is MMF. Did you mean a different kind?
I have made bows with MMF. It works fine. It works much better with gumpaste, but if you have plenty of drying time and MMF is what you have on hand, go for it.
I just used the search feature of the forums as I remember seeing a couple of recent topics on this and the following are a few that came up first. The first two are specifically about MMF and bows and the third has some really great detail directions.

Looks like you just need to make sure you give your MMF at least a few days to dry, as it will take longer to dry than just using gumpaste.
leily- I bow down to you! Thank you for those links! THANK YOU!
the last one was awesome.
I have never made any bows before and I never have used anything but MMF on a cake so I wanted to stick with MMF for teh bows if possible. I told my client (after reading that) For her cake on Saturday, I need to start her bow by Wednesday morning but preferably by Tuesday night. Tomorrow it's gonna rain here all day so I know humidity will be a factor.
