I am making a 6, 8, and 10 inch wedding cake for my aunts wedding. Can anyone tell me how many batches I will need to make? I plan to fill and torte these cakes with differnt flavor variations of this buttercream as well. Thanks for your help!

I would think that two would be enough. I made a cake the same size this week and used less than one batch. I did cover mine with fondant so I used less than I would have for a buttercream only cake.

Thank you again icon_biggrin.gif I really liked doing that one, no pressure was just playing! I don't get to do many cakes so it seems like everytime I do one I am getting to do something new.
