Hello!
I am pretty new to wedding cakes. A client wants this cake. I do not know how to make the cross hatching in the butter cream. How do you make it so neat and even? Also, how do I attach the ribbon?

use an impresion mat.

Impression mats work great, so do the tri-diamond cutter. They are sold on GSA...search Simple Diamond Cutter. The cutter can be used to imprent the quilting look or as a cutter icon_smile.gif
