Hi all,
I am gonna be starting to bake/decorate my first wedding cake today. Wish me luck. My recipes call for 3 large eggs+ I add and extra egg=4 large eggs total. How many medium eggs can I use that will equal 4 large eggs.
Thank You very Much,
Tammie

First, compare the size of your med to lg eggs if you have any lg eggs available. I have found that egg size vary within the same dozen. If you add 1 extra egg, I would add 2 med to equal your 4 lg. HTH

According to my one cookbooks emergency subst section it says 4 lg eggs = 4 1/2 med eggs. It says to get 1/2 to wisk the yolk & white together then use 1/2 the liquid. I hope this helps. Good Luck.
