I've got a golf course birthday cake next week. The birthday boy loves golf and is a fireman so the wife wanted a fireman playing golf made out of fondant. I just finished him - sort of. All the pieces are done, I just need to attach the arm when they dry. I didn't wire them, and I probably should have... any suggestions? I just tried to carefully insert wires, but then I couldn't bend the arm back to the shape I needed. Oh well - fingers crossed at this point! icon_redface.gif

Thanks for looking!

Your pieces are looking great! Love the golf bag. In the future you might want to try attaching the arms while the fondant/gumpaste is still fresh. Just use a little edible glue to attach the arms to the body and use foam to hold the pieces in position until they dry. I never use toothpicks or wires in the arms.
