This was soooo much fun! Did 3 cakes that day and this one I waited for last and I was glad I did. I was so tired after doing the first two and prepping this one when I got to lay on the fondant and add the cherry blossoms it really excited me and actually helped me open my eyes, I finished this one at 3:30 in the morning. lol

Top tier is White Wedding cake w/ cherry filling, bottom tier is Vanilla cake w/ buttercream filling. I used Pettinice fondant and was very happy with it and the flavor. I can get it slightly cheaper and had more luck w/ it than satinice although I know a lot of cake decorators use satinice.

I would like to add, Rylan, (master decorator in my eyes) was also in inspiration for me and a wonderful person. So thank you Rylan!

Appreciate all critiques and really want to keep learning.

Love your cake. I enter dummy cakes in our county fair. Think I might try cherry blossoms.

Your cake turned out so pretty! I love how you used a light shade of pink for the flowers!
