Could someone please tell me about temari cakes? I've seen them in some mags and online on makiscakes.com. They say they ate sponge but they are so smooth.... And beautiful. I'd love to learn more about them.

Thanks,
Karrie

It does take some practice to cover a ball of sponge with fondant but it is very effective when you get there. There was a thread on here some time ago discussing it.
