Hello everyone!

I will be making my son's bday cake and I wanted to put some stars on wires..what kind of wire can I use..I was asking my instructor and she mentioned its not safe to put wires on cakes..ppl can get sick..so my
question is...which one is safe..do I have to wrap it in something?

please..if anyone knows..I would really appreciate your comments.
