I have an order for a Pocahontas cake this weekend. I made the cake below for the birthday girl's sister last month. So I don't want to do just a FBT, but a doll pick with Pocahontas could be very problematic.

I don't have any ideas, the only thing that pops in my head are scenes from the animated Pocahontas movie. I'll give you a bump. Just wanted to say Welcome to CC and hi - I come down your way every year to visit my brother and his family!

TNT thanks for the bump!

I thought about doing a tiered cake, and painting one layer as the trees, but I just can't seem to get a vision of what I want to do. I know the 3 year old will be looking for her favorite "princess" I also thought about making the little hummingbird on a wire.

why not a round base, then grandmother willow (the leaves could be done as a solid piece in the first pic) and then modeled figure of Pocahontas resting below the tree
