Just curious if anybody has a preference on what brand of fondant tools to use.

Some sets I've looked at are Wilton, Ateco and PME.

I'm leaning towards PME but they are more expensive and I'm wondering if they are worth the extra money.

Thanks in advance!!

\\YES! The ball tool especially has some weight to it which you want. The Wilton, for example, has a ridge right in the center of the small ball where they must of "connected" the two halves. You cant have that when your trying to cup something because it will tear you paste! As far as the Ateco, I think their just as good as PME. But its one of those things that if you spend the money in the beginning you get your money back ten fold. If you buy somthing cheap, you get something cheap! Ive actually had one of the Wilton tools snap on me! So there is my two cents!

I dont know about the PME ones but I have the Wilton ones and some work ok, but I dont like my ball tool because its plastic and therefore has a seam. It can be very frustrating! But some of them work really well. I was just thinking the other day that I might invest in some good ones.
