Hi,

I don't use buttercream that much but have airbrushed a buttercream cake and have to add fondant accents but I am not sure whether the airbrushed colour will bleed onto the fondant or alternatively will dark coloured fondant pieces bleed into the airbrushed buttercream?

I was wondering if anybody knows? I was going to add them tonight but if it is likely to bleed I will add them on just prior to delivery.

Thanks so much icon_smile.gif

As long as the airbrushing is dried it shouldn't be a problem. Don't use water on the back of the fondant pieces to attach them though (or you WILL have bleeding) use a touch of melted chocolate or even just a dab of white icing to stick them on.
