Just wondering if you have ever posted a fake cake you were practicing a new technique on?

or

Have you ever saved to your favorites someones practice cake so that you could copy it in the future?

Just want to know! icon_rolleyes.gif

I would have no idea if it was a practice cake or not. I save it if I like the cake. A number of cakes in my photos are styrofoam cakes.

All of my cake photos so far are styrofoam, and this is only because I don't want to waste tons of cake mix just to practice! It doesn't bother me to use it or to favorite someone else's photo. Since it's only a photo, I have to go by what I see and like visually. icon_smile.gif

I have some fake cakes in my photos. They are the cakes I did for ICES.

Why wouldn't you post a cake you did and took pictures of, even if it is a practice cake?

I still consider all my cakes to be practise cakes as I'm still learning. I just try and wait until someone asks me to make a cake for a special occasion so I know it won't go to waste!
