So I was watching an old episode of "Amazing Wedding Cakes" and I noticed something interesting. To get a higher cake, the Cake Girls stacked about 3-4 cake boards under each tier (even the small ones that didn't need such strong support) of cake and iced them as if they were an extension of the cake. Maybe you might be thinking DUH-is she for real? But I had never seen/noticed that before. I'm soooo doing that!
You know, I noticed that too. I always said, wow, now I see what gives there cakes the lift. I would have never thought of it and I have yet to try but, I WILL, LOL.
