This is my first experiment with IMBC. The taste & texture are owesome but I don't like the shiny looking, for me it look greasy. I like the look of regular BC made from butter, hi ratio shortening and powdered sugar better.
I'm not sure if there's something to do with the large amount of butter in it.
Is IMBC suppose to look like that?
Anyone??? Please help.
Thank you.

My IMBC looks shiny, as well. I like the look. I love the taste and texture. It's interesting to hear what others say about it. Some say it's so light and creamy, others say it's rich!

I made in 4 different flavors. Vanilla, Chocolate, Mocha and Raspberry. Somehow the chocolate one look shinier than others, I only put melted chocolate in it. The buttercream look pretty on cupcakes, but I'm not sure if I decorate the big cake using the chocolate one.
